This recipe was created on a day I was grumpy and just needed some tasty snack, preferably containing some chocolate (it was a few days after Halloween and seeing all that peanut butter cups was taking a toll probably…). I didn’t really measured anything while doing it, so the measurements here are my best guesses, rather than an exact number.
- 1 1/2 cup raw almonds
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- olive oil
Mix together the almonds, the cocoa and drizzle the mixture with olive oil. Mix them well so all almonds are coated with the oil and cocoa.
Spread the almonds on a single layer in a large skillet and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top of them. Roast them, mixing well until the cocoa is black and the almonds start to crack.
